About Em

Hello!

Thank you for exploring my website! 😁I am so happy to have you here, and I hope you have found things interesting so far.

My wellness journey has been an eclectic combination of mental- and emotional- health challenges and conquests, and it is still going, for wellness is the journey of a lifetime. The choice to pursue wellness is a commitment to create a lifestyle that suits your unique compliment of obstacles and strengths. I can’t and won’t tell you what to do, but I can provide you with tools and insights that you can use to build a system specifically geared for your success.

You can change someone’s life in one conversation, and I pride myself on bringing that attitude into every day.

We all matter, our stories matter, and every moment matters. Do not dismiss the potential you have to make a ripple in a second that could redirect the trajectory of everyone around you.

Because we all have this power of influence, I feel that it is important that we understand this power, and respect how we can impact those around us, for better or worse. Whether we have positive or negative influence is dependent on how we feel about and within our selves, and It’ll be alwright® is charged to help you understand these connections and improve the relationship you have with your self and those around you.

I have an eclectic work background, including child care, education, hospitality, theater, administration, marketing, and management, to name a few, and I have been fortunate enough to assist in the establishment and growth of multiple small businesses. I love seeing ideas turn into goals, turn into achievements, and it has been an honor to witness small businesses sprout from dreams, and play a part in their story. If we seek fulfilment, cultivating passion is a great place to start, and from this, we can create work that feels like play!

I was born in Crewe, England, then moved to Christchurch, New Zealand at eight years old, before moving to Canada at fourteen, where I currently live in Vancouver, BC. This combination of cultures gave me unexpected insight on the workings of white supremacy and colonization, and I was able to make connections that lead to my research and writings on the psychology of discrimination and bias, and the interaction of algorithmic and subconscious bias (for more info, see my work on ‘The 100 Days of Colour’). Tying this with my knowledge of mind mechanics makes me uniquely positioned to tackle the emotional side of racism and supremacy, and I use my Corporate Wellness Workshops to teach emotional awareness, which has profound connections to the working of racism and other forms of discrimination and bias.

After a series of unfortunate and clumsy events in 2017 and 2018, I experienced multiple blows to the head on different occasions, and the resultant Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) lead to a deterioration in my functionality until I was immobile. Barely able to open my eyes, let alone speak or sit up, I was faced with a serious question: Do I go insane, or figure out how my brain works? I chose the latter, and shifted the focus of my consciousness.

Instead of worrying about my body and everything “out there”, I redirected my attention inwards, and began an internal exploration of my being and consciousness. This was the most transformative experience of my life, and in retrospect, I am very grateful, no matter how tough it may have been at the time. I would never wish this experience on anyone, but I recognise that what I learned is crucially important, which is why I built this Wellness Coaching business.

Through my semi-comatose concussion experiences, I was able to study the workings of mind, thought, and emotion with intense detail, and through this internal research, I identified patterns in how we process and organise information. When I was once more fully physically functional, I started to write down the things I’d learned, and have written multiple books inspired by this experience. The first text birthed from this period of my life is called ‘My Brain Explained: A Modern Conversation of the Mind’, and it explores mind-bending and soul-aligning insight that changed my perspective of who we are and why we are here. This book is not yet ready for publishing, but watch this space for updates!

The second and most important text is called ‘Mind Bites’. It is super short and runs through 20 key steps to Mind Management. It runs through basic techniques that you can do easily every or any day. We run through how we are programmed within the Subconscious Mind, and how we can use these pathways to our advantage. When we consciously engage with the Subconscious Mind, we can take charge of our programming, and become the person we wish we were.

That’s a little introduction to who I am, but none of us can ever be summed up in words! If you would like to learn more about who I am, what I do, and what I can offer you and your business, please don’t hesitate to send us a message or book a free consultation here. If you are interested in any of our projects or books and would like to stay posted on any updates, please sign up for our newsletter here.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading a bit about me! The time you just spent on this page was an investment in you and your wellbeing, and every hour we spend together, every worksheet you go through, every meditation you embrace, and every tool you incorporate is an investment in YOU. And you are worth this investment. You are worthy of wellness, and you are worthy of a calm mind and honest heart.

How does your wellness journey continue from here?

The choice is yours, but if you choose to go further with me, thank you, and I look forward to growing together. 🤗

Love,
